History

Orphaned at the age of 4, Betsy was bounced around from foster home to foster home in New York. She never stayed with a family for longer than four months. About 3 years ago with a particularly rough foster family her mutant powers ignited and she nearly burned the house down. She was labelled a problem child and families stopped taking her. The fire went on her record and it was suspected that she set it purposefully. Then two years ago a less than pleasant relative was found and he took her with him to Queens. Her uncle was generally an absent guardian so she easily and quickly went wayward. She promptly fell in with the wrong crowd and formed a small gang called the "Sun Skulls". Their general occupation is to disturb the peace and cause minor havoc in their neighborhood along with a little vandalism.
